Frequently Asked Questions
Before first use, switch the Ball on and fully charge it from the mains until the charging light turns green. Then place it wherever you like and wait for nightfall: it switches on by itself. It works 100% automatically, nothing else to do! No other light source should shine on the Ball, otherwise it will not switch on.
The Ball can be put in water for a short time (for one evening, for example), provided the waterproof USB-C cover is properly closed and it is taken out afterwards. It is IP55, so it is not designed for prolonged immersion.
No, the Ball needs direct sunlight to get good battery life. As the solar panel is built in, it is slightly less efficient and needs as much sun as possible.
Yes, you can pair one remote with up to 10 Balls. The procedure is explained in the instructions.
Even though the Ball gives off strong light, it remains a decorative solar light. We do not recommend using it as a main light source.
Yes, with the ON/OFF button on the remote or the physical button under the Ball. However, the physical button must stay ON for the Ball to charge.
Charge it fully (solar or mains), then press the physical ON/OFF button under the Ball to cut the battery: you can then store it for several months without worry. Before next use, fully charge it from the mains.
