Frequently Asked Questions
On first use, we recommend to fully charge the lantern by exposing it for a whole day in direct sunlight.
Once charged, at nightfall press ON/OFF then leave the lantern in ON mode. It will automatically light up at dusk thanks to the built-in day/night detection.
⚠️ The solar panel should not be exposed to artificial light sources at night (spotlight, projector), as this may prevent automatic lighting. If you store your solar sheet for winter, remember to turn it off using the ON/OFF button.
Yes. The Guirled guinguette is solar hybrid & mains.
- In solar mode, it operates autonomously thanks to its remote solar panel.
- In mains mode, it can be powered directly via an adapter (sold separately), allowing for prolonged or continuous use, regardless of sunlight.
The solar panel is offset, allowing it to be positioned freely in the most sun-exposed location, without constraints related to the location of the guinguette.
For better performance:
- Full south orientation recommended
- Direct exposure to sunlight (avoid permanent shade)
- Natural inclination thanks to the provided articulated arm
This design significantly limits yield losses, even in winter.
After a full charge:
- More than 8 hours of autonomy in normal use
- In summer, the autonomy can be significantly higher, depending on sunlight and the selected intensity
In case of intensive use or low sunlight, operation on mains power ensures maximum autonomy.
Yes. The guinguette is certified IP55, which means:
- Resistance to rain

Yes. The guinguette is scheduled to be suspended, but it is mandatory that it be supported at least at 3 points for 16 LEDs and 6 points for 32 LEDs, so that it does not break with the wind.
