Frequently Asked Questions
When first put into service, we recommend that you let the solar panel charge for a full day in direct sunlight to optimize the battery.
Once charged, the garland operates automatically:
it turns on at dusk and off at dawn thanks to its built-in twilight sensor.
⚠️ Make sure the panel is not exposed to an artificial light source (spotlight, projector, wall lighting), as this may prevent automatic lighting.
If needed, manual lighting is still possible via the ON/OFF button.
No.
This garland is 100% solar, designed to operate completely autonomously.
Its panel is properly sized to provide excellent autonomy throughout the year, without electrical connection.
The solar panel is déporté, which allows it to be positioned freely in the most sun-exposed location, without constraints related to the placement of the garland.
For better performance:
- Full south orientation recommended
- Direct exposure to sunlight (avoid permanent shade)
- Natural inclination at 45°
This design significantly limits yield losses, even in winter.
After a full charge:
- More than 8 hours of autonomy in normal use
- In summer, the autonomy can be significantly higher, depending on sunlight and the selected intensity
In case of intensive use or low sunlight, operation on mains power ensures maximum autonomy.

The solar garland is designed for outdoor use.

- Secure the garland with at least 3 attachment points for 16 LEDs
- And 6 attachment points for 32 LEDs
This prevents any excessive tension or wind resistance.
The integrated LEDs are designed to last several tens of thousands of hours.
They provide stable, energy-efficient light without heating, ensuring reliable lighting over time.
Yes. The Guirled garland has been designed to be entièrement réparable:
- Replaceable battery
- Replaceable LED extension
- Interchangeable wiring and accessories
This approach significantly extends the product's lifespan and aligns with a sustainable approach.

⚠️ If you wish to take in your garland in winter, it is best to do so at the end of the day, when the solar panel has had the opportunity to charge fully. Once this removal is done, don't forget to press the OFF button (garland off) to avoid any risk of battery discharge. The degradation of the balls during the lifespan of the garland is not covered by the warranty. We advise you to secure it with as many attachment points as possible (at least 4 for 16 balls and 8 for 32). Do not attach the garland to a moving branch, as it may break with the wind. Do not hang the garland only by the two ends, as it may sag under its own weight or due to wind/rain.
